Through old family recepies from Norrland we can see that the pine needle has been used for generations. Why? Because the pine needles contain a lot of vitamin C. In winter, the content of vitamin C is higher and it increases further north. Actuallt, in Sweden, only rose hips and sea buckthorn have a higher vitamin C content than the pine needle.

For you who knows us at Restaurant Knut has always had one foot in the wilderness and the other one in civilisation. We are all about bringing Norrland closer to you. We do it trough food, drinks and now, by a coincidence through soap and scrub.

In the beginning we made the pine needle soap in our kitchen so that our guests could have a refreshing handwash in our bathrooms. Our guests loved it.
